War Centers were military facilities used to research warfare technology, such as more accurate and powerful weapons, or increased unit armor. They were produced by droid or organic workers such as Glurrgs or Wookiees at a cost of 180 units of carbon. The Gungans, Royal Naboo Security Forces, Trade Federation, Wookiees, Galactic Republic, Confederacy of Independent Systems, Galactic Empire, and the Rebel Alliance all used their own version of War Centers.
An Imperial war center was located in close proximity to the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, along with a fortress and airbase.
