Warba Calip[3] was a Force-sensitive human female who grew up on Jedha, four blocks away from the Temple of the Kyber, where she went to listen to the Guardians of the Whills.[1] She eventually came to live on the desert planet Sergia, where she encountered Luke Skywalker, who had visited Sergia on a mission for the Rebel Alliance.[2] Skywalker believed that Calip would be able to train him into using the Force, but she was more interested in acquiring the lightsaber that he used.[3] Calip eventually stole Skywalker's lightsaber,[1] but Skywalker managed to pursue Calip and convince her to give it back.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
The publisher's summary for Star Wars Vol. 12: Rebels and Rogues refers to a character named Bendoh, with traits similar to Calip, but the name is never used in any of the comic issues.[5]
