- "The environment is delicate on a water world. Despite being frozen, this world is made of water, make no mistake."
- ―Dreand Yens of Madurs

Mon Cala was a waterworld.
A waterworld,[2] water world,[3] water planet,[4] ocean world,[5] ocean planet,[6] aquatic planet,[7] or aquatic world[8] was a type of planet that was predominantly covered in water.[4] Examples of water worlds include Castilon,[9] Glee Anselm,[10] Kamino,[11] Manaan,[7] and Mon Cala.[3] The phrase "water world" could also refer to a moon, such as the ice moon of Madurs. Environments were delicate on water worlds; Madurs was heavily polluted by an Imperial mining operation as waste swept into the water supply and artifically heated some of the water.[1]
