Web was a Ta-Ree spell capable of being wielded by Ascendants on the planet Kathol. The spell allowed the caster to conjure a web of solid, tough, adhesive fibers. The web would snare and physically restrain another individual.
The web's fibers were sticky and self-regenerating, causing them to be extremely difficult to cut by the trapped individual. Standard bladed melee weapons were at a disadvantage when trying to cut through the strands, but weapons like vibroweapons and lightsabers were more effective.
Ascendants who wished to cast the spell were required to know the entangle spell.
