A welding torch.
Welding torches were tools which generated great heat to weld metals together.[1] At the time of the Third Galactic War, TJG Industries was a producer of welding torches.[2] A droid in the Level 2012 Physical Plant on the planet Coruscant was using one to weld a durasteel grate onto a service hatch when it was destroyed by the Wookiee Chewbacca.
