Weston Gavin is an American actor and folk singer who portrayed Eadu Energy Conversion Laboratory scientist Vlex Onopin (credited as "Engineer") in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.[1] He also appeared in the 1978 film Superman as a mugger[2]; the film featured fellow Star Wars alumni Terence Stamp, Colin Skeaping, John Ratzenberger, Phil Brown, Paul Weston and Burnell Tucker.[2][3][4] In addition to his work on-screen, Gavin has released a number of folk songs and albums, both on vinyl and digitally[5][6]; his music was profiled as early as the 1960s in The New York Times.[7]
