The Whirlwind of Destiny was a lightsaber technique developed by a Human male Jedi Initiate named Petro in 20 BBY. It was designed for the user to be flexible, spinning their body and lightsaber around like an actual whirlwind.
Behind the scenes[]
The Whirlwind of Destiny maneuver was created by a young fan named Brendon Lake as part of the "Join the Jedi" contest sponsored by Hasbro. As a reward for winning the contest, the maneuver was animated into the show, and Lake received screen credit for it.
