Whoop hogs were creatures that existed in the galaxy. Former First Order stormtrooper Finn compared Captain Phasma to a squealing whoop hog when he forced Phasma to lower the Starkiller Base's planetary shields by putting a blaster to her head.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The whoop hogs were to be mentioned in an alternate Finn and Phasma confrontation scene for Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. The deleted scene was first revealed on The Star Wars Show on March 7, 2018, and it was included in The Last Jedi home video release.[2]
