- "Detained for what? Why won't you tell me? Where are they taking my father?"
- ―Wilmon Paak
Wilmon Paak was a human male who lived on Ferrix during the Imperial Era. His father Salman Paak operated Repaak Salyard in town. After his father was detained and tortured by the Galactic Empire, Paak took part in the Ferrix local uprising against the Empire, crafting a bomb that was used during the Battle on Ferrix.
Biography[]
Wilmon Paak[5] was born in 21 BBY,[1] the son of mechanic Salman Paak.[2] By 5 BBY,[6] he worked in his father's place of business, the Repaak Salyard, on the planet Ferrix. When a group of Preox-Morlana Corpos came to town in search of Cassian Andor, Wilmon alerted his father and helped to sound the alarm around the town. Wilmon and Paak later helped free local mechanic Bix Caleen, who had been handcuffed by several Corpos.[2]
Later that year, Salman Paak was detained at the Salyard and taken away to the former hotel that served as the base of the Ferrix garrison. As a crowd formed around the business, Wilmon attempted to gain answers as to where his father was being taken but was silenced by an Imperial Army trooper under the orders of Prefect Vanis Tigo.[3]
Wilmon took part in the funeral march in honor of Maarva Carassi Andor. During the riot that followed, he threw his improvised explosive against the Imperial barrier, detonating an explosives stockpile nearby, and resulting in an explosion that caused the deaths of many Imperial troops and Ferrixian residents, along with an escalation of the riot that led to Stormtroopers being ordered to fire indiscriminately into the crowd. He later escaped the massacre and left the planet along with Caleen, Pegla, and B2EMO.[4]
Equipment[]
Wilmon wore a green sweatshirt, brown pants, and black boots.[2] After the arrest of Salman Paak, he wore his father's old green coat. He was capable of constructing an improvised pipe bomb using the equipment within the Repaak Salyard.[4]
