Coruscant, as seen through the windows of the High Council Chamber
Windows were transparent glass panes in use on houses[1] throughout the galaxy. They were generally covered over by curtains—or, alternatively, shutters—when the house's inhabitants did not want others looking inside their homes,[2] or when it was nighttime.[3] Some windows were cleaned by CLE-004 window cleaning droids.[1]
There were trillions of windows on Coruscant,[4] most of which were composed of clari-crystalline or glass rather than more durable transparisteel, and thus, breakage was common.[1] The bounty hunters Bossk and Zuckuss leapt from a third-story casino window after a failed attempt to acquire the bounty on Nil Posondum.[5]
