Wiyentaah

Wiyentaah was an underground city on the planet Polis Massa, built by the mysterious Eellayin civilization. It was destroyed when Polis Massa was shattered in a mysterious cataclysm. The ruins were discovered by Kallidahin archaeologists at the very doorstep of the Polis Massa Base in 69 BBY and named it the Local Dig. Since then it was progressively excavated and its findings were catalogued. While searching, the archaeologists—who were part of the Archaeological Research Council—found what they believed to be an ancient plaza or a public area of the city.^[1]

The Local Dig was connected via an elevator to the Topside Dome, which was part of the Polis Massa Base. An environmentally controlled tent was used for preliminary sorting and examination of achaeological finds within the dig. Rock pins were used to stabilize the underground cavern. The cave was progressively excavated and findings were cataloged.^[1]
