The sights of its ice-capped mountain peaks, which were second to none, attracted many tourists and were a source of pride the planet's inhabitants.
Garm Bel Iblis used it as a location for Peregrine's Nest.
Behind the scenes
When asked about the number of bases they had used Sena replied the current one was "Fourteenth..." "...That's if you count Womrik and the Mattri asteroid bases." However, Lando Calrissian later doubted the accuracy of those statements when he realized how permanent a structure Peregrine's Nest had become. There may never have, in fact, existed such a base as the one she spoke of, or even the location.
The PC video game Star Wars: Rebellion mistakenly places the Dufilvan sector (a misspelling of the true Dufilvian sector) and, consequently, Womrik, in the Outer Rim.
