I'm not sure on this so I'll throw it out there, but I think we can check different maps and to get an idea of who controlled the region at varies times. For example, we can place it in a triangulation between Ord Mantell, Urce and Orinda (pg 212). Since it is about half way up the entralla route between Orinda and ord mantel, and a third between the route and urce, I think it is safe to say it was in the region patrolled b the 8th sector army bright jewel in 22 bby (pg 98), wild space in the pius dea era (pg 26) and earlier (pg 22) using various other planets as relative reference points(Serocco, ord mantell, iridonia, etc). We can also easily see it is within the empire between 19-17 bby (pg 112). I've only looked at the maps from the essential guide to warfare. This of course assumes it isn't original research, and it is ok to have a reference saying something like "Based off the relative positions of the planets X, Y, Z in the map on page A, and their relative positions to planets U, V on page B, it can be determined that the Osskorn system was part of wild space." or something like that.
