Atlas is a WookieeProject formed of a group of Wookieepedians seeking to create and upgrade articles relating to The Essential Atlas.

If you are considering joining the project, please take a look at our goals. If you would like to join, please add your name with three tildes (~~~) at the bottom of the page under the "Participants" section.

Goals[]

  • To bring articles based on The Essential Atlas to featured article, good article or comprehensive article status. For many articles The Essential Atlas will be the only source for it, so these pages especially should be comprehensive.
  • Create a page for all 4933 system/nebula/misc location entries in the Online Appendix using the applicable infobox.
  • Create a page for all 370 or so sectors noted in the Online Appendix and note all systems said by the atlas to be in those sectors.
  • Create pages for new planets and other locations within systems mentioned in the Atlas.
  • Go through the pages of the Atlas and add any additional information about locations, such as noting when a system was part of the Rakatan Empire or conquered by Xim.
  • Go through all planets, moons, asteroids, stars, space stations etc. and update location information.
  • Create subcategories for all sectors in the categories such as "Outer Rim systems" or "Outer Rim planets" and put the articles that are a part of this project in them. Makes it possible to see what was left out of the atlas or see what is missing information at the moment and then do something with that later.
