Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) is a WookieeProject formed by a group of Wookieepedians seeking to upgrade, create and maintain all articles associated to the company Fantasy Flight Games. This will include all media produced by FFG from roleplaying games to board games.

If you are considering joining the project, take a look at our mission. If you would like to join, please add your name with three tildes (~~~) at the bottom of the page under "Participants."

Instructions

Writing

1. Please use acceptable English grammar and spelling.
2. Write from a balanced and fair perspective while keeping a neutral point-of-view.
3. Follow the site's Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other policies on Wookieepedia.
4. Remember to also follow the site's policy on Fantasy Flight Games accordingly.
5. Be considerate of the other WookieeProjects. Fantasy Flight Games covers a lot of ground in the Star Wars universe, which means WP:FFGAMES is bound to cross paths with the other projects, so please remain civil.
6. Do NOT add speculative information of any kind, whether it is unconfirmed or trivial; if the info is not within the parameters of Lucasfilm-affiliated (or official) source, it is not canon and will not be accepted on Wookieepedia.
7. Source all information in an article where applicable.
8. "Behind the scenes" section should include notes on appearances and any developmental material.
9. Don't forget to write a "Personality and traits" section for characters where applicable, as well as a "Powers and abilities" section, also where applicable.
10. Always write in past tense.

Editing

1. Check for flawless spelling and grammar, as well as cohesive sentence flow and context.
2. Make sure the articles follow the Manual of Style, Layout Guide, and all other site policies.
3. Make sure all information, images, and quotes are properly sourced.
4. Fix templates and check for excessive/incorrect links.
5. Be sure to check for any appearances or sources that might have been missed.

All articles that originated from FFG media have the eventual goal of obtaining Featured, Good, or Comprehensive status. Articles that are unable to reach the required length for Featured—1,000 words—or Good—250 words—status can be put up for nomination for Comprehensive status. Use this flowchart for additional help when writing status articles.

Choosing an article

Many topics appear in the FFG products, some of which are older and some of which are newer. However, please note that while this project does aim to cover many subjects that appear in these products, we cannot cover every person, place, or thing that appears. Furthermore, all articles that appear throughout FFG, their related and corresponding sections should be maintained, rather than trying to this project to focus on subjects that extensively appear elsewhere.

As stated above, while the project's aim is to cover many subjects, we cannot cover everything. With that being said, any pages that have an FFG product in the {{Update}} tag at the top of the page, should be the project's first order of business. However, any pages that have an FFG product in the Update tag, which is followed by a {{Doom}} tag, should be the second to last pages covered due to them being major/essential topics in the Star Wars universe.

In choosing articles to add as projects, please make sure that:

1. It initially appears in an FFG product. Or,
2. There's at least two appearances/mentions of it in an FFG product.
3. However, the second rule may be mitigated if a subject happens to be prominently featured in even one or more FFG products.

If you have questions, do not hesitate to bring the article up on the project's talk page.

Once the article is added as a future project, please place the notice below on the article's talk page so that others may get involved.
