SupportEdit

  1. Lelal is a user who's been around for years but whose activity has really exploded over the past several months. He has a passion for the obscure and the bizarre, and he's been creating articles, uploading images, and bringing to FA and GA status articles from the Ewoks telemovies, the Holiday Special, Star Wars: Yoda's Challenge Activity Center, Star Wars Math: Jabba's Game Galaxy, and a throwaway line by George Lucas included in Behind the Magic, to name a few. His enthusiasm is boundless and his ambition is great; his interactions with others are humble, friendly, and overall very positive. Lelal's work has been enriching both the site and the community. Menkooroo (talk) 03:14, October 1, 2012 (UTC)
  2. I've never once had a negative interaction with Lelal, not even when we strongly disagreed with one another. Cool guy. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 03:40, October 1, 2012 (UTC)
  3. Indubitably one of the most active and promising users we've had in the last few months. I love that we have users paying attention to the sorts of articles Lelal focuses on. ~SavageBOB sig 03:43, October 1, 2012 (UTC)
  4. I came to like him after he apparently saw via RC that I needed some info from Star Wars: Behind the Magic, and he decided to help me with what I was looking for. He's been working on a lot of interesting articles from stuff that Menkooroo mentioned above, and the fact that he created the Royal Award Ceremony page alone is amazing, I'm surprised apparently that article didn't exist until just last month. 7. To be honest, I wanted to nominate Cade but then I noticed the 6 months period... After Cade, it's certainly LelalWinterz (talk) 15:13, October 1, 2012 (UTC)

  9. Great and crazy work, Lelal. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 01:03, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
  10. Almost surprising that he's been with us since 2006, but sometimes a person gets on a roll. From what I've observed, Lelal is doing good things lately and is worthy of this nomination. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:08, October 3, 2012 (UTC)
  11. I see Lelal haunting the RCs every night, dutifully adding things, fixing things, updating things, and generally being an all-around productive user. Now I also find out that Lelal is male. Not quite sure why I thought he was female for all this time, no offense to Lelal. But yes, a great user and worthy of recognition. Trak Nar Ramble on 06:24, October 3, 2012 (UTC)
  12. Absolutely. Glad to support such a productive user. Bonne courage, Lelal~ Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 22:40, October 11, 2012 (UTC)

  15. Definitely. Lelal is a really good user. He has been helping Wookieepedia like crazy. And Trak Nar, same thing for me his username made me think he was a girl as well. Oopps:( Sorry Lelal Wolf Screech (talk) 16:06, October 18, 2012 (UTC)

Although nothing is decided yet—far from it—since the first of November is still more than two weeks away, I wanted to let you all know that the mere fact of being nominated makes me feel deeply honored and indeed privileged. Even if the outcome of this voting does not work in my favour, your appreciation and support alone are heartwarming. :) --LelalMekha (talk) 23:09, October 11, 2012 (UTC)

NaruHinaEdit

SupportEdit

  1. Although Lelal is an awesome user, NaruHina is equaly as awesome. He's been around for a while, and has contributed to all of the status article pages, as well as having to his name more CANs than anyone else. Naru is a dedicated Wook user, and he is sure to continue postivily contributing to this wiki in the future. 501st dogma(talk) 23:39, October 1, 2012 (UTC)

OpposeEdit

  1. Naru has a nearly unparalleled history of being one of the most disagreeable and contrary users on Wookieepedia. I find his interaction with others, not just myself, to frequently be combative and unproductive. Naru started out very disruptively as a new user several years ago, earned himself a very poor reputation, and has only marginally matured to this point. To his credit, he has improved some, but he's one of those users, given his history, who seems like he's always one bad episode away from earning himself another block, and he has done little to change that expectation of himself in my eyes. Naru is simply undeserving of one of Wookieepedia's highest user recognitions. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:06, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
  2. I completely agree with Tope. His attitude and uncooperative—even immature—form is the main reason why I opposed his EC nomination a while back. I have seen no good change in him since, he may have even regressed. For the same reason, I have to oppose his WOTM nomination. Frankly, Naru is hardly the type of user to be put on a pedestal as a model Wookieepedian.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 15:54, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
  3. I'm sorry, but Naru your general attitude is the #1 issue for me to oppose. Also per Tope and Cal. JangFett (Talk) 15:12, October 3, 2012 (UTC)

  • Thanks for not asking. Bad timing, Dogma. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 18:48, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • That probably read like I was mad. Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it. :) Nonetheless, you should ask the person you're nominating if they want to be put up first, as a courtesy. I would have told you "no." NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 18:55, October 2, 2012 (UTC)
      • I was never asked, so I assumed that was how it went around here. 501st dogma(talk) 20:34, October 2, 2012 (UTC)

            • *Shrug* Expected people are opposing and everyone else can respect my not wanting to run, please. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:52, October 4, 2012 (UTC)
              • I don't get the point in opposing someone when you can simply vote for the other guy/gal. It's not like the race is closed. Opposing seems kind of like a slap in the face. I personally have no quarrel with Naru. I kinda like the guy. Perhaps he simply hasn't displayed the above characteristics to me, but I have nothing against him. However, I'm not sure his work is worthy of WOTM, but I doubt he deserves these, shall we say, insults. MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 18:47, October 18, 2012 (UTC)
                • I agree. Simply vote for the other user nominated, and you get the same outcome. 501st dogma(talk) 11:55, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
                  • I guess they were trying to make a point. Fe Nite (talk) 17:33, October 29, 2012 (UTC)
