CA review meeting 1Edit

CA review meeting 2Edit

Next meeting Edit

The last meeting was almost 6 whole months ago at this point, and some articles are still on probation review since that time period. I think a new meeting needs to be scheduled. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 02:51, July 22, 2016 (UTC)

A point for the next meeting Edit

Attatag Gosem is a CA that's 250+ words long. From the 1st EC meeting way back in 2013, this was addressed, and Menkooro said he would nom it for GA eventually. This never happened and he has also expressed that his lack of interest in the article in question, but meanwhile it still remains as a CA despite exceeding maximum word length. This needs to be brought up at the next meeting, with the inevitable outcome of either being stripped of status or brought to GA status. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 01:53, April 5, 2017 (UTC)

  • I thought simply exceeding the word count wasn't enough? Corellian PremierJedi symbolThe Force will be with you always 02:12, April 5, 2017 (UTC)
    • Well I thought for CAs as well as GAs it is unacceptable for them to be considered of that status if their word length is greater than the limit. I might be wrong, but my understanding is it is no different than redlinks, and quality articles have undergone reviews for those things, including some FAs that are currently tagged for review solely for redlinks. It would seem to spread the wrong message that people can get away with something if a CA's word count eventually goes to 250+ words after its initial achieving of status and the article is simply just untouched. • Upon reading the results discussed in the second EC meeting, indeed you are correct that those articles don't get probed for that reason. So there are no actual issues I'm aware of for Attatag then. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 03:14, April 5, 2017 (UTC)
