Wynkahthu was a gas giant[2] in the Mid Rim Territories[1] with turbulent atmospheric storms located near Ord Mantell.[2] In 2 BBY,[4] the rebel group known as the Spectres journeyed to Wynkahthu with the pirate captain Hondo Ohnaka and the gangster Azmorigan to secure the contents of an adrift Imperial cargo ship. Their ship, the Ghost, remained outside of the atmospheric storm that had trapped the Imperial ship while Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, Ohnaka, and Azmorigan entered the ship to locate the precious cargo onboard.[3]

Wynkahthu first appeared in the Star Wars Rebels episode "The Wynkahthu Job," the ninth episode of the show's third season.[3]
