X-Wing Rogue Squadron 13, also labeled as "The Warrior Princess, Chapter 1", is the thirteenth issue in the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron series of comics. It was released on November 27, 1996 by Dark Horse Comics.

Publisher's summary[]

The squadron's roster has contained Corellian heroes and Alderaanian fighter aces, but when the royal court of Eiattu 6 comes to reclaim their princess from the ranks of Rogue Squadron, it's a surprise to everyone... especially the princess!

Plot summary[]

In a starfighter simulator, Wedge Antilles (in a simulated TIE Advanced) eliminates his squadmates one by one. After discussing their performances and acquainting each other with the squadron's new arrivals, the squadron disbands while Antilles and Tycho Celchu attend a mission briefing. Grand Duke Gror Pernon of Eiattu requests Rogue Squadron to escort the world's rightful princess from Mrlsst to Eiattu to stop the infighting between the Imperials, the noble-led faction of the Priamsta and the world's royal family, most of whom were said to be executed by the nobles, including the previous emperor and Pernon's brother, Antbbianplour III.

When Antilles, Celchu and Pernon visit the Rogues' barracks, the Grand Duke identifies Plourr as "Princess Isplourrdacartha Estillo", causing Plour to knock him down, claiming that he had murdered her family. Pernon claims to have tried to stop the royal family's murder, which Plourr dismisses as a fairy tale. After tearfully reuniting with her childhood nanny droid 9-A9 "Nynie", Plourr agrees to come to Eiattu upon learning that her brother and Eiattu's rightful ruler, Harran, is alive.

The Rogues attend Plourr's official return presentation as princess of Eiattu. Plourr's second cousin, Count Rial Pernon, introduces himself as Plourr's future husband to the shock of Antilles and Celchu.
