Xi Char Cathedral factories were located on Charros IV and owned by the Xi Char[1] religious cult.[2] Precision manufacturing was considered an act of religious worship in the factories.[3] This faith practice was followed by thousands. These initiates were not concerned with what use their creations would see, allowing the Xi Char to be pawns of the Trade Federation.[1]
Vulture-class starfighters,[3] also known as vulture droids, needed very specialized manufacturing, like the manufacturing in the cathedral factories.[1] Accordingly, the vulture droid was constructed in the factories.[3]
