"Hey, hey! One of the Meatlumps never made it out of the lower maintenance areas. I think he's trapped down there. Can you find him for me?"
―Decider Ximo Tacx, to a spacer[1]

Ximo Tacx was a male Human Meatlump who lived on the planet Corellia during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, he was a decider of the technology-hating Meatlumps and operated out of the Meatlump Hideout in Coronet City.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Ximo Tacx tasked a spacer with rescuing a Meatlump trapped in the lower maintenance areas of Coronet's underground tunnels. The spacer descended into the lower maintenance areas and fought through hostile S-1 and S-2 security droids. The spacer eventually found the missing Meatlump, trapped by a band of ruffians from the rival Ragtag gang. The spacer killed the Ragtags and brought the Meatlump back to Ximo Tacx.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Ximo Tacx appeared as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] Ximo Tacx was added to the game as part of the "Meatlumps Theme Park," introduced with "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," released on June 19, 2008.[4]

  2. The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
