Xoc'dal was a male member of the Imperial Guard, the protectors of the Sith Emperor, who was also a Sith Lord of the reconstituted Sith Empire. Wielding two lightsabers in combat, he was one of the commanders of the Imperial forces during the Quesh war in the Galactic War.

Lord Xoc'dal was first added to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as part of the Digital Expansion Star Wars: The Old Republic: Galactic Strongholds, which added Conquest Commanders to most of the dual-faction worlds. Xoc'dal is a rare NPC enemy, and his place at the Imperial Garrison on Quesh is frequently occupied by a generic Veteran Sith Battlemaster.
