The Yag'Dhul theater was one of the six theaters of operations of the Outer Rim Sieges, which took place during the final stages of the Clone Wars.
Astrography[]
The Yag'Dhul theater was located in the Expansion Region and the Mid Rim, along the Corellian Trade Spine.[4] This field of operations was named after the key Separatist world of Yag'Dhul, which was located in the Inner Rim.[3]
History[]
In the Yag'Dhul theater of the Outer Rim Sieges, the Galactic Republic's Nineteenth Army was charged with defending the outer Trade Spine.[3]
As the Separatists advanced from Kinyen to Bomis Koori IV along the Corellian Trade Spine,[3] battles were fought on Sarrish, Tar Morden and Bomis Koori IV.[4]
The Nineteenth Army fought a number of battles and eventually managed to retain control of Kriselist,[3] which sat at the junction between the Corellian Trade Spine and the D'Aelgoth Trade Route.[4]
The Yag'Dhul theater was abruptly abandoned by the Separatists to supply warships for General Grievous's daring strike at Coruscant.[3] Using secret hyperlanes that cut through the Deep Core, the Separatist fleet slipped past Coruscant's defense net and entered orbit around the capital. A week-long battle ensued, culminating with General Grievous kidnapping Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.[4]
