- "Lord Vader, there's been an incident at the Yaga Minor shipyards."
- ―Captain Luitt, to Darth Vader
The Yaga Minor shipyards were Imperial shipyards located on[1] the world[2] Yaga Minor,[1] which was situated in the New Territories[3] and Outer Rim regions.[4] In 14 BBY,[5] members of the Free Ryloth Movement led by the resistance fighter Pok hijacked an Imperial weapons shipment at the shipyards. The rebels fled in a stolen freighter and attempted to rendezvous with the Free Ryloth Movement's leader—Cham Syndulla—and his ship. However, Pok and his team were pursued by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who had been informed of the theft by his subordinate, Captain Luitt. After Vader slaughtered Pok and his team, Syndulla decided to escalate his insurgency against the Empire.[1]
