Young Jedi Knights: Darkest Knight is a Star Wars Legends young-adult novel written by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta. It is the fifth book in the Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights series, and it was first published by Berkley Boulevard in June 1996.
The novel was reprinted in Young Jedi Knights: The Rise of the Shadow Academy (1996) and Young Jedi Knights: Jedi Sunrise (2003).
Synopsis[]
Jacen, Jaina Solo and their Wookiee companion Lowbacca travel to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk where Lowie's younger sister Sirrakuk is about to undergo a Wookiee ritual. Since the ritual is dangerous, Lowie wants to assist his sibling.
However, the Dark Jedi Zekk has been assigned to lead a raid on Thikkiiana City, a major exporter of computer technology. By executing this mission, he will fulfill his great potential and win the title of the Darkest Knight of the Second Imperium. A special charity auction for the original annotated manuscript of this book started in November 2013. The manuscript included editorial and production marks, different word choices and continuity alterations. The auction ended on December 5 2013.[2]
