A female individual was the first girlfriend of female TIE fighter pilot Yrica Quell. The two had a relationship at some point before Quell defected from the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing to the New Republic over two weeks after the Battle of Endor[1] in 4 ABY.[2]
While Quell reviewed the records of herself and her squadron mates in the New Republic's newly-formed Alphabet Squadron with the IT-O Interrogation Unit IT-O, she was willing to discuss anything with the droid, including her first girlfriend and last boyfriend, if it would convince the interrogation unit that she was fit to command the squadron.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Yrica Quell's girlfriend was mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, the initial installment of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy which was written by Alexander Freed.[1] Freed was then asked on Twitter if Quell's first girlfriend and the individual Nette were the same character. Freed replied claiming there was not enough evidence to say for sure that Nette was Quell's first girlfriend.[3]

Alexander Freed (@AlexanderMFreed) on Twitter. "I wouldn't say for sure. I don't like to interpret my own work (I prefer to leave it up to readers) but it's totally reasonable to assume Nette and Quell were romantically involved. Whether Nette was Quell's FIRST girlfriend? I don't think there's enough evidence to say." (backup link)
