Zentine Dynamics was a starship manufacturer that built the Ministry-class orbital shuttle at its shipyards at[1] the Core Worlds[2] planet[3] Foerost following the end of the Great Sith War in 3996 BBY. The shuttle was used by the Galactic Republic throughout the galaxy during the wars fought in the decades following the conflict.[1]

By 3643 BBY, over three centuries later,[4] during the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, the company was developing plans for a new prototype shuttle. Around that time, a slicer hiding on the astronomical object Verroth stole the plans for the prototype shuttle.[5]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

Subsequently, an individual affiliated with one of the two opposing sides of the conflict dispatched a companion to Verroth to retrieve the shuttle plans from the slicer.[5]

Behind the scenes[]

Zentine Dynamics was first mentioned in the 2008 Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide.[1]

  4. Per the reasoning here, Act I of Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place around 3643 BBY. Since players of The Old Republic can assign their companions on the mission "Corporate Espionage" independently of the main class storyline at any point during the game, the mission must take place at some point around 3643 BBY.
