農布是一名薩勒斯特男性，他原本是個軍火商和走私者，在銀河內戰中加入了共和國光復同盟。在雅汶戰役後，農布 answered the call from his friend, Rebel pilot Evaan Verlaine, to help smuggle a group of 奧德朗人s off of 蘇魯斯特 while avoiding detection from the 銀河帝國; the Empire was searching for surviving Alderaanians after Death Star I blew up its first planet, 奧德朗. He went on to further assist Verlaine and 公主莉亞·歐嘉納 in their mission to unite the surviving Alderaanians, during which time he helped Organa escape from potential Imperial captivity.
